Founded in 1989, Huashan Hospital's International Medical Center is one of the earliest international medical services in Shanghai and in China. Its own site says it covers disease diagnosis and treatment, health management, vaccination and cross-border medical transfer, and that it has handled over one million outpatient and emergency visits from more than 100 countries and regions, with foreign nationals about half of its patients.
